Serbatoio Peanut su Sporty Custom 1200 del 2004

Finalmente ho acquistato (deve ancora arrivarmi) un serbatoio Peanut di un Roadster 2004 da sistenare sulla mia Sporty 1200 Custom 2004.
Una domanda: cosa accade per quanto riguarda la sella (ho una Solo Seat LePera e una Sundowed Bucket ...ocomecapperosichiama ...della HD)?
Devo comprarne una nuova (se non voglio fare modifiche agli attacchi) o sono fungibili?

Teoricamente non succede nulla. Il peanut è più corto degli altri serbatoi. Ti si scoprirÃ* parte del telaio davanti alla sella. Ma per qunato riguarda gli attacchi della stessa non ci dovrebbero essere problemi...

pero' io leggo di un roadster 2004... sara' un 12,5 litri quindi nn quello corto (danilo, come il mio da 8,5 litri) e il telaio nn resta scoperto come da me?!?!

In ogni caso, quanto agli attacchi, io intendevo quelli della sella, non quelli del serbatoio

è come dice Verlaine, perchè sulla mia 883 Low (con serbatoio identico a quello del roadster del 2004) ho provato a montare la sella originale H-D del custom e l'unico problema? era che restava uno spazio tra sella e serbatoio.

A me non dispiace lo "spazio", almeno quello che ho visto su altre moto che montavano il veccio Peanut (mini). Il fatto di vedere il trave del telaio fa mooolto custom / bobber.
Mi direte (e le foto di Danilomgf ... a proposito, grazie ... lo confermano) che la sella originale non è un granchè "in punta" e dunque sembra piuttosto che il tutto è molto "accroccato"

Mi direte (e le foto di Danilomgf ... a proposito, grazie ... lo confermano) che la sella originale non è un granchè "in punta" e dunque sembra piuttosto che il tutto è molto "accroccato"il problema è che la tua sella attuale non aderisce al telaio come le vecchie selle,ma è stata ideata per farla aderire al serbatoio,quindi avresti uno spazio vuoto sotto la punta della sella! http://www.webchapter.it/smiles/happy5.gif

mah! nella galleria fotografica non si vede una mazza...cmq a giudicare dalla foto piccola e in ogni caso fai bene a mettere il peanut http://www.webchapter.it/smiles/ok.gif per me una sportster non è una sportster se non ha il peanut
